Slow pitch jigging highlights the modern innovations of fishing tackle and have opened new doors to the bottom fishing in Long Island Sound. Light, thin braided lines, pencil thin graphite rods, and small reels paired together with jigs that actually "fish" on the drop AND the retrieve make catching seabass more enjoyable than ever. Black Hall Outfitters in Westbrook will be hosting a knowledge session on Friday June 17th where Chris and Evan will discuss their tried and tested techniques on leaving the bait in the freezer and bringing the jig binder to fill your cooler with knot heads all summer long.
