Paul Ferreira (Paulie “Da Mouth” Ferreira)

Tell me about yourself.

I, Paul (“Da Mouth”) Ferreira, am responsible for managing the development and maintenance of the various technical systems at BHO (sometimes more successfully than others). When I’m off the clock, I spend my spare time working on old clapped out Buicks (like my 1997 Buick Riviera, Bertha) and fishing for anything in the saltwater that doesn’t bite me first. If I had to pick a few species however, I adore fishing for Striped Bass, Blackfish, and Sea Bass. In addition to my contributions to the BHO team, I also co-founded and own my own kayak accessory brand Hydra Concepts where I enjoy designing and producing innovative new products for kayak fishermen to use and enjoy.

If you were stuck on a deserted island and could only pick three things to bring with you, what would they be?

A Boeing 747, a crew to run it, and enough jet fuel to get me home.

What would you consider as your “best day of summer”?

My “best day of summer” is any day that I can be by the water, in the sun, with a cold beer in one hand and an Oscar Valladares Superfly in the other.
