247 Lures has always been a big fan of Needlefish plugs! These Needlefish were designed at 7.25″/1.75 oz and 9″/2.5 oz to be just the right size whether you’re fishing from boat or from shore. Our Needlefish sink more slowly than most others on the market. This allows the 247 Needlefish to swim perfectly in that shallow water boulder field where the big stripers love to feed.
Cast it out, let it sink to your desired depth, and retrieve slowly. Give it a twitch occasionally to flash the underbelly sideways at the fish.
Exact weight of individual plugs will vary slightly because of wood grain density, sealer absorption, layers of paint, thickness of clear coat, and even variation in the internal lead weights. Weights listed in product titles and description are best approximation, rounded up to the nearest quarter ounce.
